A4e began life over 20 years ago when large numbers of steel workers began losing their jobs as their once proud industry started to decline. We started A4e in order to provide the redundant workers with the training they needed to get back into work and on the flip-side, we were able to provide companies with newly trained, enthusiastic staff! From humble beginnings A4e now has over 3000 staff and we are now facing an exciting future, with huge global growth. Why not come join us?
A4e is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its participants and expects all staff to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check or Disclosure Scotland check and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
Variable hours, sessional and part time staff have the same right to professional development as full time staff. A4e’s financial support toward gaining the required level of qualification will be calculated on a pro-rata basis to the staff member’s contractual hours. Staff who fail to participate fully, cease any course prior to its completion or leave A4e employment during the course or within 2 years from the date on which the last stage of training was completed, will repay all or part of the costs.
To apply, please follow the job board application instructions to submit your CV. You will then be sent an email directing you to the College Careers Portal to complete your application.
